If you're a photographer in the PNW and just starting out, getting into weddings, wanting to connect with other photographers or simply feel like creatively playing around with some props, models, and your camera...then I highly suggest participating in a styled event! If you're a vendor, a styled event is a great way to have your work and talents showcased!

For those who may not be familiar with styled events, a styled event is a collaboration of vendors and photographers working together.  Each moving piece plays their part! As a photographer, this setting is a great way to gain photographs for your portfolio, practice wedding shots without the same pressures, and connect with vendors and other photographers.  

In the past, I've created my own styled shoots as I love to stretch my creative wings!  But, I enjoy the chance to just show-up and shoot too!  This event was unique for me in that I was able to work side-by-side with Alyssa Smith with setting up and decorating.  When one of the vendors didn't follow through with the invitation suite, I played with some arts and crafts and took a stab at invitations too.
